Tax Truce is Holding but Missouri, Kansas Need to Finish the Job

 In 2019, the Governors of Kansas and Missouri agreed to a truce ending the absurd “border war” of tax breaks given to KC-area business just for moving across the state line. It is holding, but the Kansas Legislature needs to make it permanent and then tackle tax reciprocity, I wrote in last week’s column.
